This scale is not a comprehensive autism diagnostic tool, nor is it a substitute test for the assessment of special needs children. Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that requires brain diagnostic analysis, such as EEG/QEEG or fMRI, which will be able to evaluate brain function to identify inefficiencies, or additional deviations, from other developmental assessments.
